We hear a lot about networks these days. We see them in the computer industry, and we hear about them with terrorist organizations, such as the Al Qaeda Network.
The other day someone asked me, What is a “Social Network?” Well, it could be all kinds of things. Indeed, it could be a group of folks who are not connected in anyway. Is this true? Yes, for instance, in business branding, it does not have to be a “network” that is actually connected, quantum physics has connections, but not physical in this dimension. See that point?
If someone buys into and adopts the “Just do it!” theme, they may not be connected, as in know each other, they are connected in spirit to attaining, achieving, persevering, in that cause. But getting back to the topic of social-networks, we generally consider them online groups of folks banding together in a common cause.
Sometimes that cause is nothing more than all wishing to be there and socialize.
